Default General help - Football coding (double backing)

I have two queries:

1) It might be a quick fix, but my BDP code occationally backs multiple times on the same football match.

Eg I have instructed the code to back a football match o/u 2.5 goals at 1.10 it then does it 6times. I guess this is because the Bet / Lay quote remain the same (eg during half time) while the script is run multiple times..

Any ideas to resolve this?

2) if I want to apply the code below to a specific league eg Armenian league could you come with some examples in how to extend the code below specifically to that football league?

Here is an extract of the code:
if best_back_player1==1.09 and best_lay_player1 == 1.10:
if marketid + selectionid_player1 not in blacklist2:
orderdetails = placeBet(marketid, selectionid_player1, price="1.10", size=str(strat2_amt))

1) Don't bet on a match you've already bet on.

What is the code to prevent the bot doing that?

This is the listCurrentOrders call in the documentation.
http://docs.developer.betfair.com/do...tCurrentOrders

You can store the marketIds and then not bet on those markets when your other conditions suggest you should.

You might need to listClearedOrders too, but possibly not.

My trading app: bfexplorer, offers BOT SDK, so you can develop your bots on bfexplorer platform.

What you describe as a problem is solved in all my bots, just check how they work, and do similar in your code, when you will not use my bot sdk, at least you will get inspiration how to improve your code:

Not as far as I'm aware. There's nothing in the documentation to do that. The assumption is that coders will write code that satisfies their own requirements based on what the API calls permit. There's plenty of example code on the forum for a variety of tasks.

Thanks both for your response. Will have a deeper look at the options and decide whats the better approach.

Stefan - I was clicking your Betfair BotSDK download link but the link prompts a 404 page cannot be found?

I removed bot sdk from public download, contact me through email, I will send you link to bot sdk download.

Saying about it here:

http://bfexplorer.net/Articles/Content/307

I removed BOT SDK from public usage couple months ago when finding out that bunch of Indian developers uses Bfexplorer BOT SDK to quickly build betfair apps utilizing bfexplorer libraries.

They simply used JayBeeBot project from Bfexplorer BOT SDK solution, and built customers projects from freelancer and similar freelancer web sites, of course they were paid, but no me, they stole my intellectual property, not saying that betfair itself do not support, or do not offer betfair api for developers from some countries: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka or UAE.

Actually, the fact was reported to me by accident, as one of those Indians customers who paid for such project needed to change some features in his betfair app, so he contacted the Indian developer but never got reply. He was clever enough to look at to app folder finding out that his app uses assemblies which names starts with: BeloSoft.Bfexplorer
